In a workplace, while there are a limited number of managers, it is normal in the flow of life to have more managed/employees. This is a normal and expected result or the picture itself. There is nothing to object to this.
The efficiency and peace of the employees must be the key to the manager staying in that seat for a long time. As the manager starts to remove one, two and three people from the job, it attracts the boss’s attention. Saying that this action is not natural is an important outcome in terms of management efficiency and increasing the employee turnover rate. In other words, this is now a problem or issue that needs to be thought about and addressed.
In a workplace, while all other employees in some levels and teams leave their jobs, the fact that some exceptional people still remain in that team, and that these people do not change despite all the changes in the team, is an issue that needs to be considered. Because here, it can be thought that there is a bond between the person who does not move like a stake in that team and the manager. However, being fair and doing efficient and fair work, ensuring the peace of the employees is the responsibility of that manager. We can claim that that manager protects and favors that person, and that it is unfair. however, what needs to be done is to be fair, transparent and just.
What is fairness and being fair here? Is it dividing an apple into 4 equal parts and distributing it? Or is it being able to share that apple based on concrete criteria such as seniority, efficiency and education of the employees?
What separates a good manager from a bad manager is the ability to share that apple by considering elements such as seniority, experience, efficiency and education rather than equal parts. Because while one person gains skills that are not easily obtained such as education, experience, performance and seniority, the other is low-productivity, uneducated and has less seniority…
This is the picture from the perspective of an employee, what about your situation?
