Communication is the process of conveying information between two or more people.where one is a sender and another is a receiver. There are three types of models in communication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which are as follows?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#LINEAR MODEL –  Communication is considered a one-way process. Where the sender is the only one who sends messages and the receiver doesn’t give any feedback or response. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Features:- <\/p>\n\n\n\n

* One-way communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Used for mass communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*No concept of feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Sender sends message and receiver only receive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PROS:- <\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Good at audience persuasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Intentional result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CONS:- <\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Communication is not continuous as no concept of feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*No way to know if communication was effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this model sender, receiver, noise, the channel is taking\nplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#SENDER- Sender is a person who sends a message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#RECEIVER- a Receiver is a person who received that message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#INTERACTIVE MODEL:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this model messages taking place both ways from sender to\nreceiver and also from receiver to sender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KEY FEATURES:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Used for new technology like internet and web.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Concept of feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PROS:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Both sender and receiver can send messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Feedback even in mass communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CONS:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*It becomes linear if the receiver doesn’t respond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Sender and receiver might not be known who the other\nperson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this model sender, receiver, channel, noise, feedback is also\ntaken place in the communication process. As we know sender and receiver is a\nperson who sends a message and the other is who received it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

#Noise- Noise is a summation of unwanted or disturbing\nenergy from natural and sometimes man-made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#CHANNEL- Channel is a medium through which we send a\nmessage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#TRANSACTION MODEL:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this model, both the sender and receiver are a\ncommunicator and both play an equally important role in communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FEATURES:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Sender and receiver interchange roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Feedback is taken as a new message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PROS:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*It’s used for interpersonal communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Instant feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Use verbal and non-verbal feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CONS:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*More noise due to communicators talking at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Encourage non-verbal communication<\/p>\n\n\n\n
