Turkey is renowned all over the world for its\nwarm hospitality and so are the Turks. From Alexander the Great to the Seljuk\nTurks to the Great Ottoman Empire Turkey has hosted so many rich heritages in\nworld history. The city of Istanbul is the epitome of nostalgia for the rich\nhistory of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film industry is one of the prosperous\nforms of introducing the historical culture in front of the world. Hollywood\nand Bollywood industries from America to India are famous for promoting their\ncultures through cinema. The pandemic has given new birth to this culture of\ncinema. We have been blessed with Over the Top (OTT) platforms like Netflix,\nAmazon Prime, Hotstar to name a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here comes the rise of Mehmet Bozdag who went\nahead to introduce the history of the Ottoman Turks with a series \u2018Resurrection\nErtugrul\u2019. Mr Bozdag is an alumnus of the Sakarya University\u2019s History and\nSociology departments. He completed his bachelors and masters degrees in these\ndisciplines respectively. The early primary and secondary education of Bozdag\nhas been completed in the Kaiseri province of Turkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Always keen on studying history Mr Bozdag\nstarted his career in the year 2009 as a screenplay writer with documentary\nserials like \u2018Son Ruya\u2019 and \u2018Kardes Sehirler\u2019. He then went ahead to produce a\nfamous series on the 13th century Anatolian Sufi Poet Yunus Emre. However, the\nworld acknowledged him with a super hit series Resurrection Ertugrul (Dirilis\nErtugrul). It is written and produced by Bozdag. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series started in 2014 and completed in\n2019 with 150 episodes. The series has been watched by millions of people\naround the world in more than seventy countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no doubt Mr Bozdag writes his heart and is capable to capture the emotions of people. Currently, he is busy with his project Establishment Osman (Kurulus Osman) which is the sequel of the Resurrection Ertugrul. The series is broadcasted by ATV and has been successful in attracting a record viewership in Turkey.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
