Peer Review Process
InTraders International Trade Academic Journal follows the ethical guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review.
1. Editorial Screening
· The assigned editor checks whether the manuscript is within scope, complete, and formatted correctly.
· Incomplete or out-of-scope manuscripts are returned to the author or rejected with a reason.
2. Technical & Language Check
· Manuscripts are evaluated for language quality, grammar, and bibliography by the Secretariat.
· English manuscripts are checked using the Grammarly software.
· Minimum 95% language accuracy is required.
· Necessary corrections are sent to the author.
3. Plagiarism and Ethics Verification
· Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
· Maximum similarity rate: 20%.
· Ethics approval is required for studies involving humans or animals.
4. Double-Blind Peer Review
· Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent referees.
· Referees choose one of: accept, minor revision, major revision, reject.
· Detailed reports are mandatory.
· If reviewer opinions conflict, a third referee may be assigned at the editor’s discretion.
5. Author Revision
· The authors address all reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript.
· The editor may send it back to reviewers for verification.
6. Final Acceptance
· Upon successful review and revision, the editor approves the manuscript for publication.
· A DOI is assigned via Crossref.
· The manuscript undergoes a final language check and layout preparation before inclusion in the next issue.
7. Timeline
· The complete review process is designed to be completed within 5 months.
