Here comes the rise of Mehmet Bozdag who went ahead to introduce the history of the Ottoman Turks with a series ‘Resurrection Ertugrul’. Mr Bozdag is an alumnus of the Sakarya University’s History and Sociology departments. He completed his bachelors and masters degrees in these disciplines respectively. The early primary and secondary education of Bozdag has been completed in the Kaiseri province of Turkey.
Always keen on studying history Mr Bozdag started his career in the year 2009 as a screenplay writer with documentary serials like ‘Son Ruya’ and ‘Kardes Sehirler’. He then went ahead to produce a famous series on the 13th century Anatolian Sufi Poet Yunus Emre. However, the world acknowledged him with a super hit series Resurrection Ertugrul (Dirilis Ertugrul). It is written and produced by Bozdag.
The series started in 2014 and completed in 2019 with 150 episodes. The series has been watched by millions of people around the world in more than seventy countries.
There is no doubt Mr Bozdag writes his heart and is capable to capture the emotions of people. Currently, he is busy with his project Establishment Osman (Kurulus Osman) which is the sequel of the Resurrection Ertugrul. The series is broadcasted by ATV and has been successful in attracting a record viewership in Turkey.
